Woodland's Valentine Poetry Contest is ongoing!!
Closes on February 14th.
"Roses are red, Violets are blue,
We love horses...How about YOU!!"
We invite you to share your love of horse with us through poetry and creative writing.
There will be prizes for first, second and third place winners!
Please send your poem or creative writing to us at woodland16301@verizon.net or drop it off in the barn office.
Feel free to let our creative writing flag fly!!
Here are a couple of happy things we want to share!
THING #1: If our students are having cabin fever, they are welcome to come out and give carrots to our horses & ponies. We suggest you bundle up. You will find the driveway and parking lots very well cleared ;)
THING #2: We are extending lesson packages due to the storm closures. If your lesson falls on Monday-Friday your expiration date will be extended by one week. If you lesson fall on the weekend, your lesson package will be extended 2 weeks.
THING #3: Valentine Poetry Contest is still going on. If you cannot get out to the farm, feel free to email your poem to us at woodland16301@verizon.net. We can't wait to see your poetry efforts!!

For more than 40 years, Woodland has been sharing the art, sport, and joy of riding through lessons, camps, clinics, and more.
Located just 8 miles north of the Beltway, we offer access to a 25-acre estate with lighted indoor and outdoor rings, paddocks, stables, fields, and riding trails. It’s a perfect place to learn to ride, improve your equestrian skills, expand your horsemanship, or just have fun in the saddle.
